If you use Windows system on a regular basis, chances are that your computer gets slower and slower as time passes. This may be due to an accumulation of unused and/or duplicated files, disk fragmentation, registry problems, and other factors.
Ashampoo Win Optimizer is a free program that helps us solve some of these issues. It has an attractive and easy-to-use interface with lots of functions.
On the startup screen, it shows you basic information about your system, such as Windows version, processor type, RAM, and the last time you ran the program. There, you can run an analysis just by clicking on the corresponding button. The program then will show you the results and the functions that need to be optimized. Then you can click on the Optimize button, and the program will fix all the bugs it found.
You can run individual functions too by selecting them from the menu. As I've said, there are plenty of them to choose from.
Please take into account that the program's interface is optimized only for widescreen monitors, so if you have a standard one you will experience some difficulties for visualizing the program.
Another important disadvantage of the free version is that some useful features are disabled, such as Autoclean and One-click optimizer. Also, a "nag screen" appears when you try to use the disabled functions. To get access to these and other functions, you need to purchase the cost-based version.
Despite this, the free version offers useful functions that let you decide if you want to purchase the complete version or not.
